All inquiries, if any are normally received in written form and may be accompanied by drawings, samples or concerned catalogue references from any catalogue. Using the information supplied after consulting with C.E.O (Chief executive officer) or concerned supplier and keeping in view the production range.
2)Customers orders:-
Customers orders are received in writing by fax or e-mails and forward to the production manager who reviews the order before its acceptance to ensure that the requirements have been adequately defined.
Once satisfied the order is confirmed to the customer through fax or e-mail. If the quotation was submitted using Performa invoice and customer has returned this Performa invoice after confirming the same by affixing his signature. Then there may not be need to reconfirm the order.
3)Quality / Production Planning:-
After the customer order is confirmed, QA (Quality assurance) Manager will transmit the informs on from the confirmed customer order on Quality / Production planning work. He will also indicate the quantity of each item available in stock after consult the stock record.
4)Process Control / Production:-
The company plans and identifies all production activities at the Quality / Production planning stage ensuring that these processes are carried out under controlled conditions.
Q.A. Manager looks after the production method and process like products specification, general description, stamping, finish, labeling etc. Also includes to the details of material to be use, required hardness, production method, where necessary, inspection and test which may be required to satisfy the requirements of the customer’s order.
5)Inspection:-
Inspection will be performed by the trained and experienced inspector after completion the production according to work instructions, master sample, drawing or illustration from catalogue. The result of the in-process 100% inspection is recorded on the process traveler card. The accepted (passed) devices are forward for next process.
6)Final Inspection by Q.A. Manager or his Representative:-
The final inspection is carried the packing department by the experienced and trained persons after cleaning and etching according to work instructions (mentioned in article no.5). Theaccepted (passed) instruments are forwarded to final storage.
7)Lab Tests:-
Either one piece from each lot or a whole lot of instruments is tested through boil test (as desired) according to work instructions to confirm that the stainless steel used in the instruments contains corrosion resistant properties.
8)Handling:-
During production for the shifting / handling of instruments suitable trays are used. After final polishing the instruments are kept segregated from each other using packing of papers to prevent polishing of the instruments from damage. The finished instruments are packed in strong cardboard packing.
9)Packing:-
Each instrument packed in poly bag or customers desired packing. A reasonable quantity keeping in view size of the instrument and customers requirements is packed in inner box made of cardboard. Then the small boxes packed in strong cardboard packing / carton. These cartons are properly striped or stitched after covering the cloth.
10)Delivery / Shipping:-
After packing in small box and labeling the Q.A Manager checks that all documents are available in the production record of lot packaged. He also draws 4% to 5% random instruments from the parcels / labeled instruments and inspects them against relevant master sample, drawing or illustration of the instruments. If there is no rejects he release the lot to final store for shipment.
